Buckinghamshire Psychology - Dr Shireen Saluja

Dr Shireen Saluja is an experienced Clinical Psychologist, accredited by the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) and The British Psychological Society (BPS). Shireen completed her Doctorate in Clinical Psychology at Midwestern University in Chicago, Illinois. She has worked with individuals from diverse backgrounds with a broad range of difficulties. Shireen has clinical experience working within the NHS as a Health Psychologist along with knowledge of Neuro-Rehab work with Traumatic Brain Injury and Stroke patients.

In addition to her Doctorate in Clinical Psychology, Shireen has a Bachelor and Masters in Psychology from Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU) in Richmond Virginia and a Masters in Psychology from Midwestern University in Chicago, Illinois. She is bilingual and can converse fluently in Hindi and Punjabi. She has a significant interest in working with individuals suffering from childhood sexual abuse, rape, domestic violence, chronic pain, fatigue, terminal illness, depression and anxiety. Additionally, she is well trained in various assessments related to cognitive impairments, personality disorders, memory, and trauma inventories.

Her experience within the NHS and her understanding of the dire need for mental health care has led Dr Saluja to start her own private mental health company. Buckinghamshire Psychology, provides face-to-face individual therapy for psychological difficulties and interpersonal development. Psychological therapy can help you deal with varying degrees of difficulties, life issues or symptoms of psychological disorders.
