Vitamin D is vitally important for overall health and wellbeing, and in particular, to keep bones, teeth and muscles healthy, and support your immune system.
A Vitamin D deficiency can cause or contribute to all sorts of conditions, from rickets in children to painful bone disorders and a weakened immune system in adults. Some studies have also linked it to an increased risk of developing certain kinds of cancers, heart disease and depression.
The Vitamin D test is a simple blood test, performed at one of our clinics. Your blood sample will then be sent to our lab for analysis.
We know that waiting for news about your health can be a worrying time, so we aim to have your results ready for you in your secure online Patient Portal often within 1-2 working days.
Vitamin D Testing costs £113.75.
An appointment fee will also be charged to conduct the blood test. The cost of blood tests will depend on the individual test, or combination of tests required. We can perform over 1000 blood tests, so please contact us to discuss your requirements in more detail. Your Doctor members receive a discount off blood testing.
